The Family Law Center offers a unique way to aid families in need of legal assistance. Our services are exclusive to meeting the needs of families.
The Family Law Center strives to address critical issues facing families. FLC areas of interest are:
- Civil and Criminal

Delinquency (Juvenile)
Deprivation (Children and Elderly)
Domestic: Child Custody, Child Support, Guardianship, Legitimation, Modification, and Probate/Wills
Mediation (civil and domestic/GAL services)
Exclusive to Middle Georgia and South Georgia, FLC handles land disputes and illegal land transactions between families and Developers working with court appointed Administrators of estates. To date, we have been successful in preventing families from losing their land based on questionable business practices of lawyers, court appointed Administrators and others.

FLC supports the men and women of our Armed Forces, and active EMS, Firefighters, Police/law enforcement and full-time school teachers K-12, church entities and grandparents raising grandchildren. We provide a 30% discount off all consultation, hourly rates and fees to all active duty and recently returned service men and women as well as EMS, Firefighters, Police/law enforcement and full-time school teachers K-12.
We will also consider pro bono services through our AAJJP based on proven income that demonstrates a financial need.
Individuals and Parents under the age of 21 who need legal assistance call us for fees and services.
FEES FOR SERVICES - No Hidden Fees
Before you schedule an initial consultation we will explain whether we believe we can assist you with your case. We will conduct a FREE brief telephone interview to gather information and based on that information determine if we can proceed with the initial consultation. This will prevent your having to pay for an initial case consultation. If we determine that we will not accept your case, cannot handle your case, lack expertise in the area of interest or have other reasons for declining representation we will not schedule or proceed with the initial consultation. This will occur before scheduling of the initial consultation. Under no circumstances will we schedule and/or accept payment for an initial consultation if we deem that we cannot handle your legal needs. We will conduct a FREE brief telephone interview to gather information and based on that information determine if we can proceed with the initial consultation. Also, if you complete the information form below, we can explain whether or not we will accept your case and whether scheduling of a consultation is necessary. Once we have determine that we can provide legal services the following fees shall apply.

Mediation
Parties involved in pre-litigation or who have actually filed lawsuits can agree to mediate their cases to resolve matters without court intervention and expenses. Alternatively, if you are involved in a court proceeding and are ordered to attend mediation, FLC can mediate your cases. You have the legal right to choose a private mediator if you elect mediation and FLC will be pleased to accept your case.

FREE Phone Interview Session:
This "session" enables us to determine whether we can assist and meet your legal needs. It is a brief phone session where we ask and respond to questions and gather facts about your case to make this determination. Once we determine that we can assist, scheduling of an "initial consultation" occurs. During the phone interview session we do not give out legal advice, this session is to aid FLC in fact gathering and case evaluation.
Online Initial Consultation
This consultation is an opportunity to converse via email/chat/web conferencing with transcription from the privacy of your home, office or mobile telephone and secure legal advice about an issue of immediate concern. This service is for people who require immediate legal advice or desires review of their case from home, etc.
Examples:
maybe you or a loved one is subject to arrest and have an outstanding probation warrant
maybe you need to know what to do about a child abandonment warrant
maybe you received a civil warrant, or a detective has come to your home and left a business card to discuss a case
maybe you were served with a lawsuit or want to file a legitmation or paternity
maybe you are facing a probate issue, death in the family or foreclosure.
File Review -
This service is provided when you want or need an attorney to review a legal document and explain the document. Some examples include, but are not limited to, Court Petitions, Lawsuits, Deeds, Wills, etc.
Initial Consultation -- Record Review and Advisement
This consultation includes, but is not limited to, an overview of your legal interest and case need. The consultation will cover up to 1.5 hours of legal advice and will not go beyond that scheduled time. The initial consultation can occur via web conferencing, telephone or in-person. If telephone service is provided, we will reserve the right to record the conversation for verification purposes and to ensure quality legal representation. You can use the online telephone providers, mobile, ATT iphone and other service providers. During this consultation you will attain valuable information about your case and the legal theories of your case; advisement will allow each person to make informed decisions about their case and whether it is in their interest to proceed with their cause of action. FLC strives to use the consultation as a platform to keep each person educated and informed about their case and the law.
Online Consultation -- Optional service and Legal Advisement
This consultation includes the use of an online service (email, online meeting or live chat session with transcript). This service is limited to one hour. This service does not include the initial consultation, but rather any other legal advise required to address your legal needs. A release and permission form will be signed prior to engaging in the online consultation services and this is generally reserved for clients.
Billable Hour Services - - Legal Representation
Depending upon the nature of the case and the matters that FLC will handle, we will allow for billing to be paid via PayPal for billable hour services only. This is reserved for clients under hourly payment plans. An example of this program includes, but is not limited to, if FLC estimates your services to include 5 hours of work, we will request at least a partial payment before we initiate legal services. You will be authorized to make payment via debit or credit card for such services.
GAL Services: FLC will provide GAL services for elderly and children.
